How I Survived Middle School Madame President by Nancy Krulik is the book I chose. Person vs. person is the main conflict . The conflict involves two girls who are both running for 6th grade class president. Throughout the story the girls have different methods of getting votes, some more mature than others.
The conflict was resolved on voting day, when all the votes were in and the girl who was being more mature was declared the 6th grade class president. Both girls in to the principal's office and she told them that the votes where so close that for the first time they would have a president and vice president. In the end both girls were happy because they were both able to represent the 6th grade class.
