Author’s Note: The inspiration to write this poem came from a visit to the art museum. I wrote this to work on my poetry writing skills.
Every kind of art
can create a new start
Even if it is black and white
you can still find a way to take flight
In the beauty of the art work
even if you lurk
In an art museum that is closed
where all the statues strike a pose
Where there are so many sculptures
and none of them are vultures
So much to see
come see it with me
